Kesha McKey

I am a choreographer, educator and performing artist from New Orleans and the founding Artistic Director of KM Dance Project, a New Orleans based dance collective providing local emerging choreographers a platform for artistic expressions that lie at the intersection of art and social justice.

My work as an educator has created opportunities for young artists to develop their power of expression through culture and art. I am currently the chair of the dance department at NOCCA and have served as a mentor and collaborator for Dancing Grounds and the Dance for Social Change Initiative, and as a Program Coordinator for the Ashe CAC Kuumba Institute.
